About the event
Drag Bus, which has taken the UK by storm over the last two years, is hosting a very special event on Remembrance Sunday 2024. It will be the first ever event where the bus is not hosted by a drag queen. We'll still be on our vintage Routemaster which will be fully decked out for the day!
Our host for the day will be one of the leading UK cabaret performers Jennie Castell. Over the years Jennie has become renowned for her Remembrance Sunday performances featuring the very best of wartime performers including Dame Vera Lynn.
Jennie has reaped praise from audiences all over the UK not just for her vocals but for her sensitive approach to Remembrance Sunday performances.
This special bus will depart from outside Charles Street Tap directly after the Remembrance Sunday commemorations on Sunday 10th November 2024. Everyone will be welcomed onboard with afternoon tea and acomplimentary hot drink drink (or glass of prosecco/wine/beer). Further alcoholic drinks can be purchased in advance.
The profits from this event will be donated by Drag Bus to the Royal British Legion, whose work is invaluable to veterans.
